Dr David Lloyd (m)
MBChB, FRCGP

I have been a GP in this practice since 1980. I trained in Bristol, learnt to be GP at Northwick Park, worked through many changes in the surgery and the health service, and am keen for more changes to happen. I can remember this practice when there was only one doctor here - Dr Shackleton! And reception was guarded by two wise old nurses - Mary and Margaret. What would they think of the surgery now!
I am directly involved in Harmoni, an organisation looking after patients when surgeries in West London are shut and working with NHS Direct to make it a useful and essential part of the local health system. I have several special interests: mental health, health information technology, children's health and asthma come to mind.
I feel part of a great team and want to know more about what patients want, so we can make the Ridgeway the best!
Dr Kenneth Walton (m)
MA MBBS FRCP

I have been a partner at the Ridgeway Surgery almost as long as Dr. Lloyd. I have special expertise in dermatology and also spend a session a week running a diabetic clinic at Alexandra Avenue Health and Social Care Centre. I have been involved with the Primary Care Trust as the PEC Chairman in the past and continue to provide support and expertise for the PCT.
Dr Ryszard Hermaszewski (m)
MBChB

Most people know me as Dr. Hermi as my surname is a mouthful. I trained in Bristol and came to Northwest London to work at Northwick Park Hospital for a few years before becoming a GP at the Ridgeway in 1994. I am interested in how things work, how people think and what motivates people to come to see the doctor. I have spent many years teaching and organizing medical students and continue to do so at the Royal Free and University College Medical School where I tutor students and lecture periodically on medical ethics and law.
Dr Clare Etherington (f)
BSc MBBS DRCOG MRCGP DFFP

I qualified from UCH,London in 1986 and joined the Ridgeway Surgery in 1998.
I deal with the full range of general practice problems but have particular interests in womens’ health and paediatrics. I run the baby clinic with Dr Lloyd and the health visitors. I am involved in GP education, teach medical students and GP registrars, am the GP tutor for Hillingdon and an MRCGP examiner.
I am married with 2 children and 4 cats. I attend the gym and yoga classes, play squash and grow organic fruit and vegetables on my allotment.
Dr Genevieve Small (f)
MBBS BSc MRCP MRCPCH MRCGP I qualified from the Royal Free Medical School in 1996. As a General Practitioner I have always had a special interest in Child Health. I started my career in paediatrics working in Great Ormond Street Hospital. After obtaining my Specialist Paediatric qualification I moved into General Practice, where my heart lay. I joined the Ridgeway Surgery in 2001. I continue to have close involvement with Children’s services for the wider community. I enjoy all aspects of medical education and am a Trainer for GPs.
